Bae Dong Sun
A South Korean writer and translator, staying in Indonesia for almost 30 years.
Wrote ‘Soekarno and the Contemporary Indonesian History’(2018) and translated ‘Max Havelaar’(2019) and ‘Tengglamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck’(2022) for Korean readers.
Published 3 titles of ‘Komik Horer Nusantara’ at Gramedia KPG, working with Chungbi Studio in Korea and also participated in making ‘100 Years of Koreans in Indonesia’(2020) published by Korean Association in Indonesia.
Currently working for Korean Film Council(KOFIC) and Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency(KPIPA) as Indonesian correspondent and global coordinator, respectively and also writing for several Korean community newspapers and magazines in Indonesia.
